Waitrose, generally seen as 'the good guys' in supermarkets, are under considerable pressure to change their misleading labelling on breed named meats which are from cross-bred Mongrel stock but labelled in such a way as to imply that they are the real thing. A discussion on their own website has been closed down but a lively debate still exists at the link below on the River Cottage website.
